A class of their own
George Steven’s senior Taylor Schildroth races with Deer Isle-Stonington senior Mason Oliver as the two varsity high school soccer teams wind up their regular season in Blue Hill October 11. The GSA Eagles play in Class C division and the DISHS Mariners in Class D but it’s always a tradition for the neighboring towns—sometimes friends, sometimes rivals—to compete at the start and finish of each sports season.
